Welcome to The Documentary Blog, a website created by and for documentary fans and filmmakers. Our goal is to become your quintessential source for news and reviews pertaining specifically to documentary films. Our regular ‘features’ will focus on filmmakers, style, and hopefully provide insight into the process of documentary filmmaking.

Jay Cheel: Jay loves the films of Werner Herzog, Errol Morris and The Maysles, and is currently in production on his own first feature-length documentary Beauty Day. You can check out his first documentary short, ‘Obsessed & Scientific’, here.

Sean Dwyer: Webmaster and editor of Film Junk, video game programmer by trade. Sean is obsessively blogging when he’s not blogging about obsessively blogging. He is also a big fan of reality in general.

Charlotte Cook: Charlotte is a filmmaker and photographer, and the runs the documentary programme at The Frontline Club in London.
