Check out this exclusive clip from one of my favourite films of the year, Bill and Turner Ross’ ‘Tchoupitoulas’. Filmed in New Orleans over the course of nine months, Tchoup is an experiential feast that puts you right alongside its main characters; a group of three rambunctious kids who, along with their trusty canine companion ‘Buttercup’, take in the sights and sounds of the city’s night life. Music plays a huge role in this experience, as demonstrated by the above clip.
‘Tchoupitoulas’ opens at the IFC Center in New York City this Friday. See it!

Dying to see this! I’m a huge fan of the HBO show Treme and this just seems to be the real-life equivalent of it, a fun and loose sensorial trip through one of the coolest cities in the world.
