So my film Beauty Day screens at Hot Docs this weekend and we’re all preparing for the big event; I’ve gotten all of the appropriate vaccines and passed the psychological assessment with flying colours. Now it’s just time to sit down with a documentary hungry audience and see how it plays. Leading up to this event, I’ve decided to share a new clip from the film and reveal the first official poster! The wonderful image above was illustrated by Mike Mitchell, the man behind Conan O’Brien’s now famous ‘I’m With Coco’ logo. I’m thrilled with what Mike has done with this poster and think he perfectly capture Ralph and the overall tone of the film. Hopefully this is something people think they might hang on their walls!
As for the clip, I decided it would be appropriate to include something that works as a companion piece to the image above. This scene shows Ralph explaining how he got the name Cap’n Video and the practical use of his unique invention, the light helmet. Check it out below:

The poster is so perfect.
Great poster. Where can I get one?
this poster is amazing and is really an inspiration. filmmakers, please take notice of how incredible and expressive a poster can be!
