Stranger than Fiction announces 2011 Winter Line-Up

Stranger Than Fiction has announced their fourteenth line-up it’s a fantastic mixture of the best in recent and classic documentaries. The pre-season special screening of Alex Gibney’s Client 9: The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer is on Jan 10th and is followed by the season opener of Rob Lemkin and Thet Sambath’s Enemies of the People. On February 15th there is a special screening of Fast, Cheap and Out of Control and a Q&A with the friends of late editor Karen Schmeer. For fans of Armadillo, Janus Metz is screening his 2007 film Love on Delivery which I’d love to see, likewise Alan Berliner talking about his 1996 classic Nobody’s Business. Every city should have a Stranger Than Fiction programme, so if you love documentaries and live in New York head down to the IFC Center and show your support.
