Giveaway: 3 Copies of The Philosopher Kings on DVD

For those of you who didn’t get a chance to catch Patrick Shen’s The Philosopher Kings (unrelated to the band of the same name) when it made its festival run, I’ve got two good pieces of news. First, the film will be making its U.S. television premiere on The Documentary Channel on Monday, Sept. 6, beginning at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The second piece of good news… The Documentary Blog is giving away three copies of the film on DVD! For those of you unfamiliar with the film, here’s a quick synopsis:

This documentary takes audiences on a journey through the halls of the most prestigious colleges and universities in America to learn from the staff members who have seen it all: the custodians. This thought-provoking, feature-length documentary interweaves the untold stories of triumph and tragedy from members of society who are often disregarded and ignored, and gives viewers the opportunity to learn from eight incredible individuals whom we never would have otherwise acknowledged.

If you’d like a chance at winning a copy of The Philosopher Kings on DVD simply send me an email here and be sure to include your name, mailing address and ‘THE PHILOSOPHER KINGS’ in the subject line. I’ll reveal the winners sometime next week! Good luck!
