  So let me get this straight... we've got a documentary about Tool / A Perfect Circle / Puscifer frontman Maynard James Keenan, and it has nothing to do with music? Okay, now I'm interested. Apparently Keenan started his own winery in the Verde Valley in Arizona, an area not particularly conducive to such things, with the help of wine guru Eric Glomski.   Looks like yet another non-fiction film is about to get a dramatic feature remake: Marshall Curry's Racing Dreams was optioned for adaptation by DreamWorks earlier this week. The movie, which was produced by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, follows three kids who compete in the World Karting Association’s National Championship, in the hopes of one day becoming NASCAR drivers. The remake is being produced by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, writers of Transformers and Star Trek. Does this mean the go karts will transform into giant robots? Hopefully.   Secrets of the Tribe was a definite must-see for me so I headed to one of the crack of dawn screenings. It was a weird experience and probably not the best film to see so early in the morning, but it certainly did wonders to wake me up. From Brazilian director José Padilha, who brought us the incredible Bus 174 and Elite Squad, the film is a look at the effects of a group of anthropologists had on the 'untouched' Yanomami tribe in Brazil and Venezuela in the 60s and 70s.   I was a little concerned going into this that I wouldn’t fully understand the relevance of this story considering that the huge news coverage of who Pat Tillman was and his subsequent death hadn’t received much coverage in the UK. However, Amir Bar-Lev (My Kid Could Paint That) was enough of a draw for me to head down to see it and I’m really glad I did as the cultural significance really didn’t feel important enough to impinge this incredible story.
