@fortran777 - this isn't a place to preach - fair enough if you have a film comment, but please don't try to put your religious spin here.

I find the documentary Armageddon quite interesting. I am a christian who believes that we are in what the bible calls the time of the end. But I also know that I don`t fit in with the group mentioned in that documentary.

Jesus quite clearly showed that war was not something for christians to be involved in. He made reference to this when we was taken into custody. He told Peter that those who use the sword will perish by the sword. Later while talking with Pilate, he told Pilate that his followers are no part of the world. He even said that his followers would not fight even to save him.

The bible shows that christians were not even to fight to save Jesus. No doubt, any war we have today would pale in comparison to saving Jesus` life.

The bible teaches that its followers, those who really hold faith in God, will wait for God handle the problems of this world. To me, those who choose to try and take matters into their own hands have too little faith in God`s power and his desire to solve this world`s problems.

I just wanted to mention that there are christians who believe Armageddon is coming but who hold no desire to try and start it themselves.

Kevin: Food Inc. and the Cove have been released. I haven't heard enough about the other two for them to make the list.

ML: Thanks for the link. It's a difficult one because I'm sure there's a lot on that site but I'm afraid I can't read Spanish. You're probably right about the list being very US-heavy but I'm British and so I don't really see that as a problem, if anything we usually get the mostly foreign language documentaries so it's great to see so many US documentaries that should have a wider success this year.
