  Blur were the first band I ever saw live, at 12 years old I went to see them at the height of the Britpop frenzy, two months after the release of The Great Escape and so they have, and always will, remain a huge part of my youth.   Word has it that director Lixin Fan's Last Train Home has won the VPRO IDFA Award for best feature-length documentary, and based on the trailer, it seems to be with good reason. What a beautiful looking film! I actually hadn't heard of this previous to a recent Twitter post by the NFB, but I will definitely be hunting down a review copy of this thing in the near future.   I went to Chuck E. Cheese's once or twice when I was a kid, and all I can remember is that it was a ton of fun and absolute sensory overload. One thing that always kind of freaked me out, however, was the animatronic band that played there.
