I’m a Jackass fan. I don’t care what you say or think. Having said that, I can’t stand the many Jackass copycats out there; which is funny considering they’re essentially doing the same thing. I guess there’s just something about Johnny Knoxville and his crew that I find charming. (Minus Steve-o and Bam) Either way, I’m not here to write a defense for stunt themed humour, I’m here to show you the trailer for Glastonburykids. A film that chronicles the high school lives of a group of Jackass wannabees that experience the ups and downs of lighting yourself on fire and purposely jumping into things. Here’s the synposis and trailer:
This verite style film follows a group of middle-class suburban boys who have adapted the lifestyle of the “stunt show” reality television stars they grew up idolizing. Photographed over the course of two years, the boys experience the bliss of high school popularity and the despair of the consequences it brings.
Well…not really sure what to say. This could be interesting I suppose. I really hope it’s not an opportunity to show a bunch of lame stunts by high school kids, but i’m sure it isn’t. It seems to want to dig into the high school popularity contest and the idea of idol worship to a fault. You can keep updated on the progress of this film through the official website. Now go light your hair on fire.

I hope this dosen’t have a moral or something against Jackass
