I met him down in NC while I was at college. He was at the one of the local Catholic churches, which welcomed him in just as any other person, when I met him. If I remember correctly he spoke there, but I am not positive because it was 2003 or 2004 at the time. He was a very intriguing man, joined me and my room mates at the dining hall, and he admitted that he would leave without any word of when and to where. But he did say he was very thankful. I actually just found out that he had this movie about him which is great! Some one like him needs to be known because no matter what, or how, after meeting him this man makes you think (something that this society doesn't do much anymore).

I ran into the Jesus Guy one day when I was driving between Greenfield, Ohio and Washington Court House, Ohio.. It was quite a shock to see him walking past me in his white robe. Of course I almost ran off the road. This took place in 1999, shortly after "TGJ was arrested in Greenfield, Ohio due to disorderly conduct and asked to vacate the town. Sounds like he was greatly misunderstood. If he had been going the same way I was I would gladly have offered him a ride. To this day, it still sends shivers up my spine to remember that weird sight on a Ohio country road, out of the blue.

An ecumenical film production company is set to release an important documentary in January which deals with faith and religion in the political process. I think it may be one of the most important issues we face this political cycle. Check it out at articlevithemovie.com
