Loose Change vs. Popular Mechanics: Four Men Enter. Two Men Leave.

100305issue.jpgA lone warrior searching for his destiny…a tribe of lost children waiting for a hero…in a world battling to survive, they face a woman determined to rule. The following debate may not be as exciting as a duel to the death in the Thunderdome, but for all of you folks following the 9/11 conspiracy theories, this is a must see. A show called Democracy Now! held a debate between the producers of the popular internet video ‘Loose Change’ and the editors of the Popular Mechanics book ‘Debunking 9/11 Myths’. Although I do have an interest in 9/11 conspiracy theories, i’ve never really truly believed half of the theories some folks put forth. I think some of the questions are interesting to say the least, but usually they’re being asked in horribly aggressive and one sided ways by people who are in no way qualified to lead an investigation into one of the most horrible terrorist attacks of all time. I’m guessing this interview came on the heels of the release of the Popular Mechanics book seeing as it apparently aired last September, however I think it’s sort of relevant now thanks to the news that Charlie Sheen would be narrating a final version of ‘Loose Change’ which will be officially distributed by Magnolia Pictures. I’ve seen the internet video and i’ve read the Popular Mechanics book, and I still have to say that the immaturity and aggressive attitudes of Dylan Avery and Jason Bermas still turns me off. Check out the following interview clips and judge for yourself.
