  There seems to be a number of documentaries popping up based on video games lately. I suppose it could be due to the fact that gaming is still a relatively new form of entertainment that has very quickly become a massive billion dollar industry. Having said that, not much attention has been given to the growth of video games as an artform.   A documentary about a font? Alright, i'll bite. You may be asking yourself 'What could possibly be so interesting about the Helvetica font that it deserves its own documentary?'   Here's a cool sounding film being produced by Antoine Fuqua of Training Day/King Arthur fame. Bastards of the Party is an HBO documentary film based on the creation of the black gangs of Los Angeles. Directed by Cle "Bone" Sloan, who became a member of the Bloods at the age of 12, Bastards of the Party (the title which refers to the fact that The Crips and The Bloods were the 'Bastard offspring' of the Black Panther movement of the sixties) details the creation of rival gangs through exclusive interviews and archival footage.
