It seems like his hands are still grasping the revolver as he falls. He says one last word before he puts it in his mouth, I think it's “kitty!” but I could be wrong, any ideas? Those sounds he makes as he goes down are inhuman. Look at the timestamp too, what an uninteresting minute in the afternoon to die - 2:53pm. The way the chair, couch, and poster move when his body hits the floors makes my heart skip beats. I think the liquid sound at the end is his urine coming out, but it might be from the head wound. The actual moment of death was a wakeup to reality for me. I think there's a profound difference between what my expectation was, which was something like Vincent D'Nofrio in Full Metal Jacket, and what actually happened. The final physical act, and his coherent documentation of the emotional breakdown leading up to it, is incredibly striking and saddening. This is one of those experiences that will stick with me. I don’t mean to be insensitive about that. The actual moment of death was a wakeup to reality for me. I think I disagree with Scott about there being nothing to gain from the 1:44 version, (Even if its true about it not being as good as the Sami Saif one).
