In lieu of Oliver Stone’s upcoming 9/11 film ‘World Trade Centre’, I thought i’d post about an independent documentary that’s been circulating around the internet for a while now. ‘Loose Change’ is a film that poses the questions many haven’t even dared to consider asking…was 9/11 a set up? And more importantly…was the GOVERNMENT behind it?? Yes, it’s a little sensational. And although I don’t entirely buy the theories of ‘controlled demolitions’ and the missles attatched to the bellies of the planes, I must admit it makes for some pretty interesting discussion. The film itself suffers a little bit from D.E.E.O. (digital editing effects overkill) and some pretty unfortunate choices in music. Worst of all, the narration is both bland and unconvincing. The film is stubbornly one sided and almost immature in it’s eagerness to be right. BUT…I still recommend you check it out for some interesting coincidences along the lines of the infamous folded twenty dollar bill and the prophetic wingding font arrangement.
